#2. Provide Proof of Strong Ties with your Home Country.
One of the most important things a reviewing officer looks for while reading your Statement of Purpose is strong ties to your home country. With a convincing argument to return to your country of origin, your Australian Student Visa has a much greater chance of acceptance. There are a few essential items to add into your GTE Statement to convince the reviewing officer that you will leave the country directly after your education has finished.
Proving strong proof of ties to your home country can come in the form of family members, land or house deeds, or potential future employment. Another aspect to take into consideration is the economic development of your current country of residence. If unemployment rates are decreasing and average wages are increasing, it is in your best interest to state that within your Statement of Purpose or GTE Statement. It is likely that a growing economy in your home country will help convince your reviewing officer of your plans to return post-study.
